Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri confident Willian will stay but unsure of Thibaut Courtois' future

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri says he is "confident" Willian will stay at the club - but admits he does not know where Thibaut Courtois' future lies.

Brazil winger Willian, 29, has been connected with moves to Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona and arrived late for pre-season preparing.
Sarri says he had a "positive discussion" with the player on Thursday.

"There isn't a Willian issue," said the previous Napoli manager.
Belgium goalkeeper Courtois, 26, has been connected with Real Madrid this mid-year.
"Right now Courtois is the goalkeeper of Chelsea," said Sarri.
"I don't know later on. It relies upon the club, it depends particularly on him, however, I trust Courtois will be our goalkeeper."

Examining the fates of Brazil focus back David Luiz and England forward Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Sarri included: "I am extremely content with David for his state of mind. I figure he will be vital for the group.
"Loftus-Cheek I have just observed three or four [times in training], so I should pause".
Chelsea plays Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday (15:00 BST).
